[Methods] A total of 158 patients with lumbar disc herniation and sciatica were selected from March 2023 to August 2023. [Results] Among the 158 patients, 56 cases underwent early inclusion of ambulation, 102 cases did not complete early ambulation. The first ambulation time is 12 hours after operation and concentrated on the second day after operation. Single factor analysis showed that two groups of 24 h postoperatively in patients with early pain, fatigue, upright intolerance, sleep quality, early ambulation will, total protein level, anxiety, depression score, postoperative rehabilitation self-efficacy comparison, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).logistic regression analysis showed that postoperative pain score, early fatigue, orthostatic intolerance, sleep quality, anxiety and depression score, and rehabilitation self-efficacy score had great influence on early ambulation. [Conclusion] The current situation of early ambulation comfort of patients with lumbar disc herniation after surgery is not good. Nursing staff should strengthen postoperative pain management, encourage patients to enhance confidence, improve the ambulation mode of patients to reduce upright intolerance and fatigue, so as to promote early ambulation of patients and speed up early rehabilitation of patients. [Methods] A retrospective analysis was conducted on data collected from preschool children with ocular trauma who presented to our emergency department from May 2, 2018, to May 2023. [Results] A total of 324 preschool patients with ocular trauma were identified, comprising 157 patients (48.46%) aged 0-3 years and 167 patients (51.54%) aged 4-6 years, with a male-to-female ratio of 2.05:1. The leading causes of ocular trauma were contusions in 113 cases (34.88%), followed by injuries from blunt objects in 64 cases (19.75%), and falls in 55 cases (16.98%). The predominant types of trauma were blunt ocular adnexal trauma in 208 cases (64.2%), with eyelid injuries being the most common, and blunt ocular trauma in 96 cases (29.63%). Chemical injuries occurred in 9 patients (2.78%), and intraocular foreign body injuries in 11 patients (3.4%). The majority of the children were managed conservatively with treatments such as local eye drops post-injury. [Conclusion] Most ocular injuries are preventable. Caregivers should enhance supervision of preschool children and minimize injury risks in daily life. The clinical diagnosis of abdominal apoplexy during pregnancy is rarer, and often made only after emergent exploratory laparotomy is performed for unstable vital signs and severe anemia. Affected by an enlarged uterus during pregnancy, the symptoms and signs of acute abdomen may be confused with placental abruption or other more common complications of pregnancy. [Case presentation] Both cases in the study showed that the main symptoms were abdominal pain, hypotension, nausea, vomiting, and other associated blood loss symptoms of varying degrees. Due to its sudden onset, this dangerous condition with no typical symptoms and signs can be easily misdiagnosed, two cases were given urgent surgery finally. At a 12-month follow-up, no abnormalities were observed during medical examinations of both mother and child. [Conclusions] The clinical diagnosis of abdominal apoplexy during pregnancy usually needs emergent exploratory laparotomy to find the hemorrhagic spot. We analyzed and summarized two cases of abdominal apoplexy in the late third trimester of pregnancy in and aims to provide certain clinical reference for surgeons when seeing the abnormal sustaining abdominal pain during pregnancy so that adverse pregnancy outcomes can be avoided. By examining the relationship between Se levels, oxidative stress (OS), and PCOS, the study provides a theoretical basis for the supplementation of the potent antioxidant Se in women with PCOS, aiming to improve the prevention and management of PCOS and reduce its complications.[Methods] Sixty-six females diagnosed with PCOS for the first time from June 2022 to June 2023 at the Shenzhen Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (Futian) were selected as the observation group. Sixty-eight healthy volunteers with regular menstrual cycles were randomly selected as the control group. Serum levels of GSH-Px, TAC, and Se were measured and statistically analyzed for both groups.[Results] Serum levels of Se, TAC, and GSH-Px were significantly lower in the observation group compared to the control group (P<0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference.[Conclusion] The deficiency of the trace element Se leads to a reduction in OS indicators, including levels of GSH-Px and TAC. It is inferred that Se deficiency may be associated with the pathogenesis of PCOS to a certain extent. [Methods] A total of 249 patients with T2DM were chosen from among those hospitalized at Lanzhou University's First Hospital between April and September of 2023. The serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D level, body fat rate, fasting blood glucose, and fasting insulin of the subjects were detected, and 198 T2DM patients with low serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels were selected as the observation group. 51 T2DM patients with normal serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels were selected as the control group, and the correlation between type 2 diabetes mellitus and vitamin D levels and obesity was analyzed. [Results] Obesity and serum vitamin D insufficiency are associated with type 2 diabetes. Both vitamin D deficiency and obesity eventually lead to T2D, endocrine disorders, and other common diseases. [Conclusions] Low plasma 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D) concentration and high BMI are correlated with an increased risk of diabetes. [Methods] Ninety-two patients undergoing painless endoscopic tumor resection in our hospital were randomly divided into a TEAS control group and a TEAS treatment group. The incidence of SIRS, inflammatory factors, immunoglobulin, and the first anal exhaust time were evaluated before and 48 hours after surgery. SPSS statistical method was used to analyze the evaluation indexes of the two groups before and after treatment. [Results] TEAS treatment significantly reduced the levels of IL-6 in peripheral blood 2 days after surgery, and increased the levels of IgG and IgM in peripheral blood 48 hours after surgery. There was no significant difference in the expression levels of TNF-α and IL-10 between the two groups. TEAS can promote the recovery of postoperative intestinal function, mainly in postoperative defecation, and shorten the recovery time of postoperative exhaust function and the length of hospital stay. Perioperative transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation can reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications. [Conclusion] TEAS can improve gastrointestinal function, inhibit postoperative inflammatory response, promote the recovery of intestinal function, shorten the length of hospital stay, and inhibit the occurrence of postoperative complications after endoscopic tumor resection. This provides a new method and new concept for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of patients with gastrointestinal tumors after endoscopic resection.
